Christian Rodriguez
AIA, LEED Green Associate
Principal | Architect
As a Principal and leader of EskewDumezRipple’s Civic/Cultural studio, Christian leads studio efforts related to elevating the mission and visibility of museums and cultural organizations in their communities. He has served as a trusted architect for the New Orleans Museum of Art, leading several significant projects and advising the museum on expansion and renovation opportunities to further enrich their campus and visitor experience.
After receiving his Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University, Christian has served in various positions in the architecture industry. As Christian joined EskewDumezRipple in 2014, he brought with him an interdisciplinary approach to architecture, one that integrates landscape and buildings to produce sites where the network of indoor and outdoor spaces is conceived as one unified whole. This is most evidenced in his role leading the design for Thaden School in Bentonville, Arkansas, a 30-acre master plan and high school campus with a high sustainability agenda, and the Olney Theatre Center, a master plan and holistic reimagining of the venerated community arts organization. Christian is also licensed in Alabama, where his team recently led a sweeping renovation to the University of S. Alabama’s School of Medicine, an expansion that seeks to establish the school as one of the region’s premier medical educators.
Named a Senior Associate in 2018, and a Principal in 2020, Christian brings a deep commitment to collaboration to the design process, working diligently with clients, users, colleagues, partners, and builders to translate a shared vision into impactful spaces that serve their community well.
