Matt Kymes
RA, NCARB
Associate | Senior Project Architect
Matt rejoins EskewDumezRipple as an Associate, following stints in Texas working for Perkins+Will and Laguarda Low Architects on international, mixed-use projects. There he gained a wide variety of experiences, including the University of Texas' Chemistry Physics Building (a full planetarium in lobby space), and the Dostyk Center, a high-rise office complex in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In his previous time at EskewDumezRipple, Matt served as Project Architect on the 2009 Superdome Renovations, Champions Square, and as a team member on the Smoothie King Center Renovations.
Outside of the office, he is an avid student pilot (single-engine aircraft), previously raced in sanctioned USA Cycling races, and plays the cello (he attended university originally on a music scholarship and has performed for the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. and at the Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas, TX).
