After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture degree and a certificate of Historic Preservation from Mississippi State University, Ashlen joined the Eskew Dumez Ripple team in our New Orleans office.

Originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, Ashlen realized her passion for architecture and the built environment after experiencing Hurricane Katrina destroy over 90% of the buildings in her hometown and watching the community slowly rebuild. She was inspired by resiliency and perseverance of the people in her community, and her decision to pursue a profession that focused on the improvement of her environment.

When she is not in the office, Ashlen enjoys watching Wes Anderson movies, reading books, and thrift shopping around the city.
