The building’s presence along Highway 190 is anchored by a strategically placed rooftop terrace that balances visual prominence with privacy. Lush native plantings surround the perimeter of the terrace, enhancing the building’s facade while offering a natural sense of enclosure. As part of an expanding campus, Bodet Place II connects seamlessly with the original Bodet Place I across the street, reinforcing the campus’s continued growth and development.

The interior of Bodet Place II embraces a classic modern aesthetic with a focus on light, airy spaces inspired by nature. Organic elements, geometric patterns, and bold detailing create a calming environment, fostering productivity and occupant comfort. Distinctive interior features include terrazzo flooring with geometric patterns, providing both durability and beauty; a wood ceiling with integrated cove lighting, adding warmth to the space; and a “wood portal” at the elevator lobby, integrating functional elements with visual appeal. The textured stone used on the exterior is seamlessly carried into the interior, offering visual continuity and connecting the building to its natural surroundings. Mixed metals, such as brushed brass and matte black finishes, further enhance the building's design, adding depth and sophistication.

Sustainability is central to the building's design, incorporating long-lasting materials and high-performance systems. A post-tensioned concrete structural system ensures durability, while a geothermal mechanical system provides energy-efficient climate control. Precast stone cladding and locally sourced wood finishes reinforce the building’s long-term sustainability and tie it to the local environment.

In addition to the building’s architectural features, the landscape design restores the native prairie ecology that once characterized the site. Native plants are used to enhance biodiversity and create a sustainable outdoor environment that fosters a deeper connection to nature.

Bodet Place II stands as a high-performance, modern office building that blends seamlessly into its surroundings. With its timeless design, careful material choices, and focus on sustainability, it is a lasting and inspiring addition to the Covington community.
